TYPE. Movement Controller (DVC3 & DVC5)
The TPI Movement range of products is specifically designed for use with the new generation of LED direct-view displays. The Movement LCR channels ship as a pair of speakers, one to be installed above the screen and one below in each of the screen-channel positions. The system is controlled by the TPI DVC range of proprietary class-A fully discrete controllers.
The movement screen-channel systems are offered in three different sizes, each offering incrementally higher SPL output.
The TPI Movement controller is a unique product in the Professional Cinema Market. Newly designed from the ground up by TPI’s engineers and using our exclusive and coveted analog circuitry, the Movement controller takes the LCR signal from your decoder and splits it into the upper and lower screen channel Movement signals.
The Movement controller’s circuits seamlessly blend these upper and lower signals, adjusting the gain, phase, timing, and wavefront to ensure the sound presented within the room appears to come directly from the screen itself. What's more, the height on the screen at which the acoustic centre appears, is infinitely adjustable within the Movement controller by the commissioning engineer.
Every TPI loudspeaker is tested and certified at the end of its production in our anechoic chamber, to ensure it meets our required stringent-performance-criteria.
